Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time Assistant Accountant to join Meath Business Podcast based in Meath Hill, County Meath, Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, working primarily onsite.
Key Duties
- Compile monthly accounting records up to the Trial Balance stage.
- Perform reconciliations for the Balance Sheet accounts.
- Manage the processing of purchase invoices efficiently.
- Carry out creditor reconciliations and manage payments.
- Maintain detailed records in the Fixed Asset Register.
- Coordinate and communicate with external auditors as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a Part Qualified Accountant or a Qualified Accounting Technician.
- Possess at least three years of relevant accounting experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
- Show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
