- Design agentic processes for both single-agent and basic multi-agent setups using appropriate frameworks.
- Add tool usage and memory capabilities for agents, and connect MCP servers to standardize tool interoperability.
- Work with senior engineers on A2A communication approaches for coordination across multiple agents.
- Apply responsible AI controls such as prompt-injection protection, PII masking/redaction, and security-compliance measures.
- Run AI workloads in cloud or container-based environments such as Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Track, diagnose, and resolve issues in AI applications using observability platforms such as Datadog.
- Write clear technical documentation and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Take part in the full delivery lifecycle, including understanding product-owner requirements and aligning solutions to business objectives.
- Work in an agile team, including daily SCRUM updates and regular progress reporting.
- Follow Vodafone policies and internal procedures in all activities.
- Support functional and non-functional testing across project phases.
- Investigate, repair, and prevent defects and incidents during development and application support.
- Prepare release bundles for test and production environments.
- Handle incidents and problems at L2 and L3 support levels.
Required background and capabilities
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
- Comfort with rapidly changing digital technologies and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Good planning and organizational skills, including time management and workload prioritization.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and shifting project demands.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn new approaches and processes.
- Ability to build constructive relationships, persuade effectively, and collaborate across teams.
- Willingness to keep up with new practices and technology changes and apply them in daily work.
- Solid understanding of user journeys, business capability needs, organizational goals, and product outcomes.
- Awareness of the telecom and digital services market, along with emerging business and technology trends.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Experience building REST APIs and cloud-native microservices.
- Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
- Understanding of network communication and integration protocols such as SOAP and REST/JSON.
- Experience with unit testing, including mocking frameworks.
Benefits and workplace experience
- Access to all necessary work devices, including laptops and mobile devices.
- Health and life insurance coverage.
- Performance-linked additional compensation.
- Private pension support.
- A broader package of benefits designed to support work-life balance, growth, and overall employee experience.
