Role Overview
This role requires managing multiple Skechers and Dr. Martens retail locations in Auckland and the North Island, targeting commercial growth, fostering high-achieving teams, and providing outstanding customer service. You will have full responsibility for your region, acting autonomously as a business leader with a focus on driving excellent results and maintaining the distinct brand identities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales, KPIs, and deliver superior customer experiences across all stores.
- Analyze performance data to find opportunities and implement strategies for sales maximization.
- Support and lead Store Managers to achieve consistent targets and operational excellence.
- Coach and grow Store Managers to develop motivated, accountable teams fostering a fun and energetic workplace.
- Implement succession and talent development plans to prepare future leadership within the region.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations ensuring visual merchandising, stock control, shrinkage management, and health and safety compliance meet company standards.
- Manage wage budgets, scheduling, and operational productivity efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- Experience managing multiple retail stores within a fast-paced environment, preferably as an Area, Cluster, or Multi-Site Manager.
- Strong record of achieving sales targets and KPIs across several locations.
- Independent decision-making skills with a commercial mindset.
- Ambition to advance into senior retail leadership positions.
- Excellent leadership qualities with a passion for coaching and team development.
- Operational expertise including visual merchandising, inventory control, and remuneration management.
