Architect - Planning and Construction Management

About the Role

Knoll Architekten is seeking a proactive architect specializing in planning and construction supervision. Our growing firm is located in Birkenau near Weinheim and handles sophisticated projects such as single and multi-family homes, schools, educational buildings, churches, community centers, renovations and heritage conservation. We manage projects from initial concept through approval planning to construction supervision, employing modern digital tools and streamlined workflows without excessive hierarchy.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage new construction projects.
• Develop design, approval, and execution plans.
• Handle tendering, awarding contracts, and cost monitoring.
• Lead construction supervision and coordinate various trades.
• Maintain direct communication with clients, authorities, and specialist planners.
• Ensure quality control, adherence to schedules, and budget compliance.

Candidate Profile

• A completed degree in architecture.
• Experience in project planning and preferably in construction supervision.
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach.
• Enthusiasm for taking responsibility.
• Proficiency with CAD software; ArchiCAD is a plus.
