Role Overview

This on-site, full-time position based in Dammam entails overseeing aquatic operations through swim instruction, program management, lifeguard training, and facility supervision to uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain comprehensive swimming programs, including "learn to swim" and "improvers" courses serving community needs from infants to adults.
  • Deliver swim lessons to a broad age range, ensuring skill improvement and safety.
  • Conduct training for pool and beach lifeguards aligned with international and SAUDI ARAMCO standards, maintaining rigorous, ongoing training schedules and preparing lifeguards for biannual trade tests or as necessary.
  • Assist in coaching swimming teams upon request by management.
  • Organize and facilitate swimming teacher certification courses for instructors and assistants as required.
  • Collaborate with recreation departments to design and execute safety awareness campaigns and swimming challenges year-round.
  • Manage daily aquatic facility operations, including cleaning protocols, supervising staff on duty, and monitoring water purity according to company sanitation guidelines.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment for staff is maintained to guarantee workplace safety.
  • Report any facility damages or improper use to company representatives promptly.
  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted functionality of pool and beach amenities throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in developing and managing swimming and lifeguard training programs is essential.
  • Proficiency in swim instruction spanning various age groups.
  • Knowledgeable in international lifeguard training modules and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
  • Ability to operate and supervise aquatic facilities, including sanitation and maintenance oversight.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate staff training and swim programs effectively.
