Role Overview
The L2 Application Specialist supports the rollout and ongoing operation of enterprise applications by coordinating implementation work, keeping stakeholders aligned, and helping ensure projects are delivered successfully. This position needs a strong grasp of enterprise application environments, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and technical delivery practices, along with the ability to work across multiple teams during implementation and after go-live support.
The role is focused on enterprise application architecture, deployment coordination, upgrades, and operational support across the full application lifecycle.
Experience Required
- 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application support, implementation, or project coordination.
- Hands-on exposure to application deployments and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Track project tasks and milestones to help ensure delivery stays on schedule and matches the stated objectives.
- Act as the main contact for business teams, customers, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
- Clarify requirements and help keep scope, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies aligned across everyone involved.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to make sure assigned tasks are completed as planned.
- Watch project progress closely, surface risks, issues, and dependency blocks, and escalate them when needed.
- Support enterprise application implementation, integration, upgrade, and post-deployment work throughout the SDLC.
- Assist with testing coordination, including SIT, UAT, and production-readiness checks where applicable.
- Help prepare project records such as meeting notes, technical summaries, status reports, and implementation plans.
- Follow organizational governance, quality, change management, and release management requirements.
- Coordinate incidents, problems, and service requests tied to enterprise applications, ensuring proper logging, escalation, and closure.
- Support deployment planning, production cutover activities, and post-implementation validation.
- Maintain clear, regular communication with all stakeholders during the project and support lifecycle.
