About the Role
We are developing cutting-edge payment infrastructure and seek an Analytics, Strategy & AI Specialist to join our team. This position transcends typical reporting or business intelligence functions, interfacing analytics, strategy, and AI to tackle complex business challenges alongside senior leadership. You will play a crucial role in building scalable data capabilities and driving growth initiatives within our payments business.
As part of a compact, high-achieving team, you will pioneer new analytic capacities, foster AI integration, and contribute to strategic business projects from inception.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine payment, customer, and operational datasets to extract actionable insights that improve business outcomes.
- Design and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators, and analytic models to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Detect emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance company performance.
- Develop AI-driven applications and automate operational workflows utilizing Python, SQL, and current AI technologies.
- Scout and apply AI use cases to boost productivity and streamline operations.
- Assess new AI technologies and promote their adoption within the company.
- Support strategic projects by conducting market research, performing business analysis, and providing data-informed recommendations.
- Analyze potential market expansions, payment innovations, and business prospects.
- Prepare well-structured business cases and presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve business challenges.
- Lead projects analytically from conception through to deployment.
- Contribute to building scalable analytics infrastructure and nurture a culture grounded in data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
- Approximately 2 to 4 years' relevant experience in FinTech, payments, banking, financial services, technology firms, consulting, or management leadership programs.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation of large datasets.
- Experienced with Power BI, Datawind, or equivalent advanced BI and analytics tools.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and quantitative aptitude.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-driven and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
- Preferred experience includes handling payments-related financial or transactional data; direct experience with AI platforms (LLMs, AI agents, workflow automation); familiarity with cloud data systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery; building dashboards, data pipelines or internal analytics tools; working in startup or scale-up scenarios; and cross-functional collaboration across business departments.
