Role Overview

This entry-level position targets professionals eager to develop expertise in the edible oils and fats sector, focusing on downstream business development and strategic planning. The role involves supporting various projects by conducting thorough research, analyzing market data, contributing to strategic decision-making, and aiding the formation of business strategies for both organic growth and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive market, industry, and competitor research, including identifying trends, market sizing, benchmarking, and assessing risks to inform strategic planning and business opportunities.
• Assist in building financial models, business cases, and valuation analyses for business initiatives.
• Prepare strategic presentations, reports, and materials for leadership and management discussions.
• Develop dashboards and visual data presentations that facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
• Analyze current processes (AS-IS) and identify gaps while collaborating with stakeholders to design improved processes (TO-BE) that enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, operational efficiencies, and mitigate risks.
• Act as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and IT/technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment during design, development, and testing phases.
• Monitor and report key business performance indicators and the status of strategic initiatives and projects periodically.
• Be available for business travel as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computing, Data Analytics, or closely related fields. Additional academic or practical exposure in Accounting, Business (especially Finance), or Economics is beneficial.
• Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years in domains such as Business Analysis (IT), Management Consulting, Business Development, or Corporate Finance, particularly Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Preference for candidates with combined expertise across analytics, data, technology, and finance/business arenas.
• Essential proficiency in financial modelling and strong foundational accounting knowledge.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel (with VBA), PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with business analytics platforms like PowerBI or Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory with additional language skills such as Bahasa Indonesia considered a plus.
• Must demonstrate a proactive approach, independence, and effective teamwork capabilities.
