Role Overview
We invite applications for a Creative Project Manager role to be the vital organizational force behind our studio operations. This position requires managing the complete project lifecycle from initial client engagement to final delivery, overseeing both internal projects like intellectual property development and external client productions. Key aspects involve balancing project timelines, client communications, production resources, and profitability while navigating evolving AI technologies and maintaining creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive delivery of AI image and video projects across diverse clients and schedules.
- Conduct client communications, including regular production updates, expectation management, and consolidating feedback into actionable plans.
- Support early project stages by refining briefs and aligning concepts, challenging assumptions to clarify project parameters.
- Establish and maintain structured production workflows encompassing timelines, milestones, review sessions, approval procedures, and clear definitions of completion.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions among creative and production teams to maintain momentum and resolve obstacles during rapid iterations.
- Develop and organize all project documentation, including briefs, alignment summaries, review trackers, handoff materials, and delivery assets, ensuring professionalism and traceability.
- Maintain transparency and compliance regarding production content and approvals to foster trust and avoid ambiguity.
- Drive continuous operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable workflow enhancements as project volume increases.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of six years of project management experience in creative settings such as agencies, VFX or 3D animation studios, film production, or social-first marketing environments.
- Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple simultaneous projects with high client interaction, tight deadlines, and numerous stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of creative production methods, including traditional photoshoots and digital content generation, coupled with the ability to maintain progress without overwhelming teams.
- Exceptional client management skills, including confident leadership during calls, stress resilience, relationship building, and initiative in revenue generation through pitching and prospecting.
- Highly organized with a systems-oriented approach that supports creative output.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments with evolving tools and processes.
- Creative insight to identify risks, ask pertinent questions, and influence project direction effectively.
- Experience developing scalable workflows within growing studios or startup contexts.
- Preferably, familiarity or genuine interest in AI-driven creative processes and rapid iteration pipelines.
- Understanding of content production licensing and rights management, especially relevant to AI-generated assets.
