About the Role
Mulberry Talent Partners is collaborating with a reputable and steadily growing company located in Southeast Portland, Oregon, specializing in wholesale distribution for the semiconductor industry. This trusted distributor serves major technology manufacturers worldwide by providing essential products and supply chain solutions. The Accounting Administrative Assistant position is pivotal in supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments alongside offering administrative assistance for accounting and customer service tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Input invoices for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accurately.
- Cross-check AP invoices with purchase orders to confirm pricing, quantities, freight fees, and product details.
- Handle electronic funds transfers, ACH customer payments, credit card transactions, and checks from customers and vendors.
- Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments.
- Resolve discrepancies related to payments.
- Maintain both digital and physical accounting documentation and filing systems.
- Record and monitor customer bookings and sales activities.
- Generate and send monthly invoices to customers.
- Submit invoices via customer procurement portals as required.
- Prepare and share internal business intelligence reports.
- Manage new customer credit applications and account setup information.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, or office support roles.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting deadlines and prioritizing effectively.
- Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting or inventory software; Sage software knowledge preferred.
- Professional demeanor, reliable and friendly, and available to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers hourly pay ranging between $28 and $30 depending on experience. Benefits include fully employer-paid medical and dental insurance for employees, 50% coverage for dependents' medical and dental, annual profit-sharing, paid vacation and holidays, all provided by a stable and well-established company.
