Job overview

This is a full-time accountant position in Jeddah. The role centers on handling day-to-day financial activity, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting the company’s reporting and control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting entries and manage the full accounting cycle.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts as well as customer and supplier balances.
• Contribute to monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Track cash flow and produce periodic financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting work.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, and applicable rules.
• Support both internal and external audit processes.
• Work with different departments to provide accurate financial insights and analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax rules, and local regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a team and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and protect confidential financial information.
• Prior accounting experience is preferred, especially in retail or food and beverage settings.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered an advantage.
