Role Overview
The Account Manager acts as the chief liaison for assigned clients, strengthening relationships and overseeing all facets of their financial aid departments’ interactions with Regent products. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with clients to resolve product usage issues, maximizing product benefits, and setting measurable objectives through regular engagement meetings. A deep comprehension of financial aid operations is critical to providing tailored guidance that boosts client success and product adoption.
Core Duties
- Prioritize and address client requests based on impact and urgency
- Collaborate internally across teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Evaluate existing client solutions to enhance product performance and adoption
- Analyze client resource needs to improve operational benchmarks and product utilization
- Maintain secure communication to foster ongoing client feedback and support
- Conduct operational reviews to share best practices and guide clients across Regent's product suite
- Build and nurture strategic client partnerships to promote beta testing and development involvement
- Secure long-term client commitments for license renewals and product expansion
- Understand short- and long-term client goals within their financial aid departments
- Proactively manage client success, escalating issues as necessary to leadership
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate client business needs into actionable operational requirements within financial aid
- Previous work experience in a higher education financial aid office
- Proficient in client relationship management and engaging executive leadership
- Experienced in collaborating in dynamic development environments and handling complex system integrations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for varied professional audiences
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving operational issues with outstanding analytical acumen
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, teamwork orientation, and commitment to client satisfaction
- Adept at multitasking and prioritizing in fast-paced settings
- Detail-focused with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Confident public speaker with experience presenting to large groups
- Results-driven with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and delivering success
