Overview
The Los Angeles Chargers are looking for a skilled and motivated Account Executive specializing in premium experiences to boost revenue and enhance the organization's footprint within the Southern California business market. This role is focused on selling high-end suite experiences for single game rentals as well as cultivating long-term suite lease ownerships. The candidate will be embedded in their sales team based at the Chargers' offices in El Segundo, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell single-event premium suite rentals to corporate clients and affluent individuals.
- Build, nurture, and expand a portfolio of premium suite customers.
- Identify prospects for converting one-time suite renters into leaseholders.
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to actively prospect new business.
- Conduct sales presentations and meetings at SoFi Stadium as well as client locations.
- Develop and strengthen new business relationships across the region.
- Utilize CRM systems to document sales activities and manage pipeline efficiently.
- Clearly articulate the unique benefits of the Chargers’ premium products.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams daily.
- Support premium client service during game days at the stadium.
- Attend industry and networking events throughout Southern California to generate leads.
- Consistently achieve and surpass established individual sales objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- Two to three years minimum in sales roles, preferably in B2B or luxury B2C sectors.
- Capable of independent work in a goal-driven environment.
- Ability to thrive and contribute within a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Documented history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Professional demeanor with strong business insight.
- Expertise in B2B prospecting methods and pipeline management.
- Confidence engaging with top executives and high net-worth customers.
- Strong relationship-building and presentation capabilities.
- Exceptional work ethic focused on exceeding organizational and personal goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce CRM, and Outlook email.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the sports or hospitality industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
