Account Executive (Accounting)

Role Overview

We seek a meticulous and proactive Account Executive experienced with Odoo ERP to oversee the entire financial management for a group of companies. This practical position demands accounting acumen along with the ability to coordinate across multiple business units.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive and precise financial records using Odoo ERP for all associated enterprises.
• Record daily financial transactions, encompassing purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Oversee both accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and closely monitor cash flows.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing variances.
• Ensure punctual submission of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to Indian accounting standards and local financial regulations.
• Prepare management information system (MIS) reports and dashboards within Odoo for leadership review.
• Offer financial insights regarding cost control, profitability, and strategic planning.
• Consolidate financial data across the group for an overarching perspective.
• Utilize Odoo ERP to enhance automation, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
• Support process optimization and enforce internal controls.
• Provide training and support to team members on fundamental Odoo finance modules when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance; qualifications such as CA Inter or M.Com preferred.
• Demonstrated 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, especially with managing accounts across multiple entities.
• Proficient hands-on expertise in the Accounting and Finance modules of Odoo ERP is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, relevant Indian accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational and communication capabilities.
