Enlight Lab is a remote-first team built to help businesses turn ambitious product concepts into working digital experiences. Role overview

This internship combines WordPress development with graphic and UI/UX design. You will work on building and refining responsive websites, creating visual assets, and supporting digital projects from early concept through deployment.

What you will do

• Build, customize, and launch responsive WordPress websites from the ground up.
• Create marketing visuals such as social media creatives, banners, brand elements, and other promotional materials.
• Modify WordPress themes and plugins using page builders as well as custom code where needed.
• Turn UI/UX mockups into polished, pixel-accurate WordPress pages.
• Connect third-party APIs, plugins, payment systems, CRMs, forms, and analytics tools.
• Improve site speed, search visibility, mobile behavior, and overall performance.
• Edit images and graphics for websites and social media use.
• Identify and fix website errors, plugin conflicts, and layout problems.
• Handle basic website hosting tasks, backups, and security practices.
• Work closely with product and marketing teams to deliver strong digital outputs.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 7 Jul 2026 and 11 Aug 2026, and can commit to a 6-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and interests. Women looking to start or restart their careers are welcome to apply. Stipend

The stipend is INR 5,000 to 8,000 per month.

Additional requirements

• Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, and MySQL.
• Practical experience with WordPress setup and page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
• Comfort using design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software.
• Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and UI/UX fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot both front-end and back-end issues while working within brand guidelines.
• A portfolio that demonstrates web development and/or graphic design work.
• High sense of ownership and the ability to design, build, test, and deploy projects independently.
• Extra advantage if you know WooCommerce, Git, SEO, website performance optimization, motion graphics, or video editing.
