Role Overview

The Youth Lead position is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Coimbatore Area. The main responsibilities include crafting, executing, and overseeing youth-centric programs, workshops, and community engagements that align with the organization’s mission and local demands. This role requires direct interaction with young individuals, conducting group facilitation, offering mentorship, and maintaining inclusive environments for youth involvement.

Daily activities encompass coordinating with educational institutions, community collaborators, and other stakeholders, managing event logistics and timelines, monitoring participation, documenting outcomes, supporting outreach communications, and working collaboratively with internal teams to enhance program effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and support youth in diverse environments.
• Experience in planning, delivering, or coordinating structured youth programs or activities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills including active listening and engaging various audiences effectively.
• Knowledge of social work or community engagement methodologies pertinent to youth development.
• Preferable academic credentials include a degree or diploma in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Community Development, or related disciplines.
• Additional competencies such as program planning and evaluation, stakeholder relationship management, basic reporting skills, and familiarity with standard office and collaboration software.
• Experience working with youth in schools, NGOs, or community organizations within the Greater Coimbatore region or nearby areas is advantageous.
