Overview

Based at our Perth Precinct, WA, WesTrac welcomes you to join one of the largest authorized Cat® dealers globally, a firm dedicated to innovation, teamwork, and safety. We pride ourselves on supporting Australia's mining and construction industries with a strong focus on people, performance, and customer success. This role forms part of our Perth Branch logistics team tasked with redefining excellence in construction and mining.

Duty Roster and Work Hours

This position operates Monday to Friday, with shifts lasting 10.5 hours each day, inclusive of a meal break.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Load and unload machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Handle transportation of machinery and materials across the site.
  • Wash and prepare machinery for customer delivery to high standards.
  • Complete workshop movement requests promptly as required.
  • Support crane operations by assisting with movements and acting as spotters.
  • Conduct stocktaking of attachments and various equipment.
  • Perform manual handling tasks adhering to safety protocols.
  • Operate autonomously as well as coordinate effectively within a team environment.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Valid Forklift Licence.
  • Previous experience with earth-moving machinery operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when preparing equipment for customers.
  • Strong communication abilities and a self-driven, proactive approach.

Additional Preferred Certifications

  • Dogging and rigging qualifications (advantageous).
  • Basic Traffic Management certification (preferred).
  • Working at Heights certification (desirable).
