Job description
Overview
Ranger Environmental Services is looking for a dedicated and dependable Washbay Attendant to support our team. The role is crucial for keeping our company vehicles and heavy equipment clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate must pay close attention to detail, prioritize safety, and be comfortable working outdoors near heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery using tools like pressure washers, hoses, and cleaning solutions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the wash bay area.
- Restock cleaning materials such as soap and degreasers when required.
- Inspect equipment post-cleaning to identify cleanliness and check for any damage or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Provide assistance with various yard or shop tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license; a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience operating pressure washers and related washing equipment.
- Able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions including heat and cold.
- Physically capable to lift, bend, and stand for prolonged durations.
- Strong focus on detail with a cooperative and team-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in wash bay duties, detailing, or manual labor is preferred.
- Work schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
