Role Overview
This position sits within ABB and supports the Electrification business in the Distribution Solutions division at Nashik, India. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on warehouse handling activities for parts, semi-finished items, and finished goods moving between the warehouse and the production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and place materials into storage according to defined instructions and warehouse guidelines.
- Carry out day-to-day warehouse tasks in line with established procedures.
- Pick stock components for dispatch and complete pallet packing for outgoing material.
- Move boxes and support broader collection, storage, and warehouse operations as needed.
Role Requirements
- A full-time bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration is required.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in warehouse and stores management, including receiving inventory, storing materials, and handling material movement.
- Ability to process inward and outward inventory transactions along with GR entries in SAP.
- Experience issuing materials to production teams while keeping inventory accurate and available on time.
- Working knowledge of FIFO practices and maintenance of 5S standards to keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and efficient.
