Job description

Job Overview

Join the dedicated team at the delivery station, the final step before packages reach customers. Your role involves loading conveyor belts, organizing deliveries, and preparing shipments for drivers.

Key Duties

  • Receive and prepare inventory for shipment.
  • Operate technology such as scanners, handheld computers, and printers.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and move pallets and packages efficiently.
  • Accept and handle incoming truck deliveries of customer packages.
  • Use various equipment including carts, dollies, and hand trucks for transportation.
  • Perform physical tasks like lifting products up to 15kg, standing, walking, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Navigate stairs as needed and work amidst varying temperature environments and moving vehicles.

Work Schedule and Location

The working week spans Monday to Saturday, with five working days including two Saturdays per month. Shift schedules are fixed with options suitable for both part-time (12+ hours/week) and full-time (30+ hours/week) commitments. Locations include multiple warehouses in Mannheim, Frankenthal, and Viernheim, Germany.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting wage of €16.05 gross per hour for daytime shifts, with an increase to €16.55 from September 1st.
  • Nights shifts pay €20.86 gross per hour, which includes a €4.81 tax-free night bonus for hours worked between 23:00 and 06:00.
  • Guaranteed wage increases after 12 months (€16.56/hour gross) and 24 months (€18.33/hour gross).
  • 28 days of paid vacation based on a five-day workweek.

Additional Information

An Open Door Day event is available at the FRA7 location in Frankenthal on August 5th and 19th, 2026, starting at 10 AM, allowing potential candidates to tour the facility and learn about the role before starting as soon as possible. Registration beforehand is mandatory.
