The agency works with companies in emerging technology, finance, and consumer sectors, and its reach spans channels such as AI Search, The Wall Street Journal, Shopify, TikTok, Meta, and Google.

As Avenue Z invests further in creator-led media, the team is developing an internal content engine to produce premium video, podcasts, social content, and thought leadership at scale. The company is seeking someone eager to help shape that vision from the beginning.

Role Overview

The Videographer & Editor will work directly with the Creator Lead to help build Avenue Z’s media engine. This position focuses on producing polished content that captures attention, tells strong stories, and strengthens the agency’s presence across social media, podcasts, YouTube, and client work.

You will own the technical side of production, including camera operation, lighting, editing, and post-production, while also contributing ideas that improve the creative output. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to make an immediate impact, and is comfortable working on content at events or off-site locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video for Avenue Z’s social platforms, podcasts, interviews, client campaigns, and original series.
• Produce and edit both short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and related channels.
• Handle professional camera, lighting, audio, and production gear, including setup and upkeep.
• Manage podcast shoots end to end, from camera and lighting setup to audio recording and post-production.
• Collaborate with the Creator Lead during idea development and production planning.
• Contribute creative direction on framing, pacing, transitions, music, and overall storytelling.
• Keep media libraries, project files, and production workflows organized.
• Track current social content trends, editing approaches, and new production methods.
• Help create repeatable production systems and creative processes as the media team grows.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 2 years of professional experience in videography and editing, ideally within an agency, creator, production, or in-house setting.
• A portfolio that shows strong cinematic storytelling and content built for social platforms.
• Hands-on proficiency with editing tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and similar software.
• Practical experience working with Sony camera systems and professional production workflows.
• Solid knowledge of lighting, composition, framing, and visual style.
• Experience capturing quality audio and coordinating multi-camera shoots.
• Ability to edit both fast-moving short-form pieces and refined long-form videos.
• Strong file organization and asset management habits.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in podcast production.
• Exposure to motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading.
• Photography experience.
• Experience creating content for creators, executives, or personal brands.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, plus perks and benefits.

Additional Information

This role is based in Miami, FL and requires onsite presence. It also calls for schedule flexibility to create content at events or other off-site locations.
