- Design compelling hooks and pacing strategies to engage viewers within the first few seconds.
- Create multiple video variants with differences in length, aspect ratio, captions, and hooks to allow platform testing.
- Work closely with creatives to translate campaign strategy into persuasive visual narratives.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback, aligning revisions with strategic and performance goals.
- Use historical data and metrics to identify optimization opportunities for content.
- Tailor edits to platform-specific requirements including captions, aspect ratios, and native formats.
- Stay current with trends and successful editing techniques on paid social platforms.
- Review raw footage, troubleshoot gaps, and collaborate with creators to improve content quality.
- Manage project files, versions, and exports efficiently within a collaborative fast-paced workflow.
- Engage constructively with team feedback in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years' experience editing video content for paid social, social media, or digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in short-form video editing including hooks, pacing, captions, and platform-specific formatting.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; familiarity with After Effects is advantageous.
- Solid grasp of Meta, TikTok, YouTube specs, trends, and best practices for paid social content.
- Capacity to improve and polish raw, imperfect creator footage for professional use.
- Excellent organizational abilities for managing files, versions, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Self-driven, open to coaching, and motivated to develop editing speed and versatility via feedback.
- Interest in social media content performance metrics and strategic content development.
- Preferably experienced in UGC/creator content for paid ads, fintech or subscription products background, basic motion graphics or animation skills, and familiarity with campaign performance data analysis.
Employee Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Health Savings Account (HSA) with company matching contributions.
- Paid life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), and disability benefits.
- 401(k) plan including employer matching.
- Unlimited paid time off and official company holidays with additional bonus holidays.
- Professional development stipends to encourage continuous learning and career growth.
- Access to mental health support and personalized financial planning services.
- Fertility healthcare benefits available.
- Supportive parental and caregiving leave policies, including supplementary services like cleaning and meal support.
- Flexible work environment options including remote and office-based models.
- Onsite amenities such as stocked kitchens, catered meals, and social events.
