Clients include market research consultancies, biotech firms, management consulting, and pharmaceutical companies.
Role Purpose
The Vice President of Sales is tasked with meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets by generating new business and expanding existing accounts. This role requires proactive outside sales efforts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating with delivery teams for smooth project execution, and mentoring sales staff to optimize bidding and profit margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with All Global leadership to develop effective sales strategies.
- Drive new business development while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Track and manage sales KPIs and performance metrics to ensure productivity aligned with quarterly goals.
- Meet or exceed individual financial targets including revenue and profit objectives each quarter.
- Foster a competitive and supportive sales culture emphasizing growth and prospecting.
- Maintain visibility with key accounts, building influential relationships.
- Make strategic decisions on bidding to maximize gross profit and provide mentorship on such choices to Account Managers and VPs.
- Participate in sales calls alongside team members to support closing deals.
- Work closely with delivery team leaders to guarantee seamless client service from quoting through invoicing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of sales experience, ideally with a proven record in new business acquisition and mentoring sales teams.
- Strong communication skills with management, clients, and internal teams.
- Consistent achievement of sales targets, quotas, and margin goals.
- Ability to advocate for accounts internally and work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent presentation, problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.
