Role Overview
This is a full-time onsite leadership position located in Ranchi, overseeing strategic and operational functions for Dispositif de Soutien à l'Autodétermination - Normandie. The Vice President of Operations leads the development and execution of programs aligned with the organization's mission to promote self-determination, manages key partnerships, and oversees relationships with community groups and service beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise organizational staff and manage performance evaluations.
- Oversee budget creation and allocation of resources to optimize service delivery.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Represent the organization at external meetings and events to foster relationships and partnerships.
- Make data-driven decisions to enhance program effectiveness and drive continual improvement and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership and management experience, with capabilities in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Background in program or project management with skills in designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting and resource management, particularly in nonprofit or social sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
- Relevant knowledge or experience in social work, community development, disability support, or empowerment sectors focused on self-determination.
- Ability to maintain full-time onsite presence in Ranchi and adapt to local community and regulatory environments.
- Preferred education includes a bachelor's degree or higher in management, social sciences, public administration, or related fields.
- Competency in digital tools for documentation, reporting, and communication; understanding of monitoring and evaluation is advantageous.
