About the Role

A leading company is urgently seeking Vessel & Crane Operations Assistants for port operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The positions focus on assisting vessel and crane operations within a busy port environment, requiring relevant port experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vessel and crane operations at the port.
• Conduct rigging, slinging, and crane signaling activities efficiently and safely.
• Perform equipment inspections and operational checks on cranes and related hardware.
• Calculate load weights and manage load distribution following safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated operations.
• Apply risk assessment techniques to maintain safety standards and prevent accidents.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of port experience as a Vessel & Crane Operations Assistant.
• Educational qualification of 10th grade, 12th grade, or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge and skills in rigging, slinging, crane signaling, equipment inspection, and load calculation.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures for cranes.
• Manual dexterity and familiarity with rigging hardware and equipment operation.
