Job description
Job Summary
A family located within a 20-minute walk from North Wollongong station is urgently seeking a live-in au pair or babysitter for two young children aged 4 and almost 2 years. Both children understand English and Japanese, and the older child is bilingual. Basic English communication skills are sufficient to apply.
Responsibilities
The role includes transporting the 4-year-old son to and from school on Mondays and Tuesdays, requiring a valid international driving license. Additional tasks include doing laundry and preparing meals especially on days when the employer is working. The family is committed to supporting the au pair to minimize workload burden.
Candidate Requirements
- Female applicants only
- Ability to drive with an international driving permit
- Currently holding a Working Holiday visa
- Non-smoker
- Enjoy working with children and actively play with them
- Experience in daycare or kindergarten is highly preferred
- Energetic, positive, and physically fit
