Role Overview

This position is a Band 3 Living Well Therapy Assistant role located at Sobell House. The appointment is for a fixed term of one year, requiring 22.5 hours per week. The primary mission of the Living Well service is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet their goals and maintain day-to-day wellbeing and a purposeful life.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver creative activities, rehabilitation, and wellbeing-focused support to patients and their carers using the Living Well service. This role demands an energetic and creative individual who can plan and lead various craft projects and activities that promote mental and physical wellbeing. Collaborative working with patients and colleagues to provide patient-centered care is essential. Additionally, flexibility is required as there may be occasions to provide cross cover at Katharine House hospice, involving some travel.

Working Hours and Environment

The Living Well service operates Monday through Thursday, with staffing scheduled to cover shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. The Trust offers a supportive workplace that includes access to clinical supervision and educational opportunities.
