Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and self-driven Front Office professionals eager to advance their hospitality careers. As a Telephone Operator at Media One Hotel, your main responsibility is to manage all incoming calls attentively and professionally, contributing to ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer guest calls in a courteous and professional way.
- Communicate effectively with different hotel departments to maintain smooth service delivery.
- Politely address all guest queries, aiming to surpass their expectations.
- Greet guests by name on calls, following the Rotana hospitality standards.
- Keep current on hotel information and local services.
- Use the Opera system to stay aware of guest profiles.
- Process management’s long-distance call vouchers and log them accurately.
- Manage and deliver guest wake-up calls punctually and according to standards.
- Operate the telephone switchboard efficiently to ensure quick call transfers internally and externally.
- Record messages for guests and management following the set procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality or related field is preferable.
- Prior work experience in a similar role is important.
- Strong verbal and written English skills with effective voice modulation are essential.
- Computer proficiency is required; experience with Opera PMS is advantageous.
