Role Overview and Responsibilities

As Technology Director, you will take charge of crafting and articulating the UKSC's technology strategy, aligning it with the UK's intrinsic strengths and global opportunities. This critical position demands acknowledged expertise in semiconductor technologies along with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders including government bodies, industries, academic entities, and overseas collaborators.

• Shape and lead the creation of the UKSC's technological roadmap and corresponding research priorities.
• Offer well-founded advice regarding emerging trends and technological advancements in semiconductors.
• Act as the official UKSC expert in various national and international forums.
• Provide crucial technical insights to facilitate investment choices and partnership formations.

Candidate Profile

Eligible candidates will possess senior-level experience in the conception and innovation of semiconductor technologies, hold recognised authority and be acknowledged as thought leaders within the semiconductor sector. Proven success in managing significant research and development or innovation programmes is essential.

Work Environment

The UKSC is located in Kings Cross, London, offering a hybrid work setup. Additionally, candidates may have the option to work a four-day week.
