About the Role

Rawafid Industrial is seeking a proficient and committed Technician to become an integral member of our energetic team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The primary focus of this position involves conducting maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing various equipment and systems utilized in our construction projects. Your expertise will be essential to ensure smooth, safe, and effective operation of all technical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repair tasks on diverse machinery and systems either at the job site or workshop.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment defects, delivering reliable solutions to resume service promptly.
• Support the setup and commissioning phases for newly introduced equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs comprehensively.
• Follow all established safety procedures rigorously to minimize workplace risks.
• Work alongside engineers and project managers to report equipment conditions and suggest performance enhancements.
• Keep abreast of new technological developments and industry advancements to improve skill set and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

• Holder of a diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Registered as a technician with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Minimum of three years practical experience in a technician capacity within construction or industrial settings.
• Capable of using diagnostic instruments and tools pertinent to maintenance and repairs.
• Strong aptitude for diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Thorough understanding of safety codes and practices relevant to technical work environments.
• Competent in interpreting technical blueprints, electrical schematics, and manuals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate within a team setup.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including occasional overtime when necessary.
