Job Purpose

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Audi vehicles in full compliance with the principal work specifications. The goal is to ensure every customer experiences exceptional service by ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults using specialized diagnostic tools and a systematic approach, ensuring issues are accurately identified and resolved.
• Verify the quality and completeness of repairs via diagnostic checks and road testing; collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate additional needed work and estimated completion times.
• Work closely with workshop colleagues and Service Advisors to deliver excellent customer service and share best practices.
• Repair and overhaul complex mechanical parts with precision, ensuring timeliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Detect and rectify wheel alignment issues as part of repair processes.
• Identify warranty-covered repair work, complete all necessary documentation, and coordinate with the warranty department.
• Maintain service paperwork such as job sheets, pre-delivery inspections, and service reports consistent with warranty and dealer protocols.
• Keep workshop cleanliness and organization, including maintenance and use of special and personal tools.
• Adhere strictly to all safety practices to protect oneself and coworkers.
• Participate in staff meetings actively and contribute suggestions for process improvements or cost reductions.
• Commit to continual personal development by attending relevant training programs; absorb updates on new product lines and technologies for effective fault diagnosis and repair.
• Schedule and attend annual performance appraisals in accordance with company procedures.
