Team Lead - Prior Authorization

About the role

INFINX is hiring a Team Lead for prior authorization operations in Navi Mumbai. This role is focused on guiding a team, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining strong performance across quality, productivity, and client delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and balance work across team members to keep operations moving efficiently.
• Support the team in resolving work-related challenges and making sound decisions on issue handling.
• Provide direction, leadership, and clarity to project teams.
• Track and improve project productivity, quality, and overall output.
• Escalate operational blockers and follow up until they are resolved.
• Understand and adopt new client systems as required.
• Plan and coordinate training for both new joiners and existing team members based on project needs.
• Communicate with clients, gather feedback, and shape strategies that align with their expectations and business requirements.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be a graduate from any stream and open to working in any shift. The role requires at least 4 years of experience in AR denials voice processes and prior experience as a TC, TL, SME, or specialist in a team-handling capacity. The candidate should have managed a team of at least 25 people and demonstrate strong people management abilities.

Required domain knowledge

Applicants must have deep knowledge of the US healthcare provider process, end-to-end RCM, and expertise in payment posting, credit balance, and charge entry. Experience in migrating and managing new projects is important. A basic understanding of HIPAA guidelines is also required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools.

Additional information
