With 12 years of experience involving over 1,000 children and 130 specialists in Ukraine, the center integrates the British EYFS curriculum with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence to ensure children feel secure, understood, and nurtured. The 22,033 sq ft campus features small, personalized groups in a thoughtfully designed environment with shaded outdoor areas, sensory zones, and spaces designated for both active play and quiet reflection.

Role Overview

The Teacher Assistant will collaborate closely with an educator to facilitate daily routines, support children during games, lessons, care activities, and help with their adaptation to the environment. This role demands active participation in creating a positive atmosphere for young learners aged 1.5 to 5 years.

Qualifications

• Possession of higher education or practical experience related to early childhood centers, nurseries, or kindergartens; at minimum, completion of full secondary education or equivalent.
• Experience working within an Early Childhood Centre (ECC).
• Deep understanding of children's developmental needs between ages 1.5 and 5 years.
• Proficient English communication skills suitable for daily interactions.
• Attributes of friendliness, patience, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Preferably experience in Dubai kindergarten settings or international environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist educators in organizing group routines and daily activities.
• Supervise and accompany children during various activities such as games, classes, walks, mealtimes, and rest periods.
• Help prepare educational materials, equipment, and classroom space for sessions.
• Support children with personal hygiene and daily care procedures.
• Guide children during transitions to different activity zones including artistic, musical, and sports areas.
• Adhere strictly to center policies, procedures, and approved instructions.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, wellbeing, behavior management, and confidentiality protocols.
• Participate in preparing the group areas for the center opening and engage in internal training sessions.
• Maintain orderly and safe environments within the group throughout the day.
• Observe children's wellbeing and promptly report any changes in behavior or emotions to relevant staff.
• Conduct individual play and educational activities according to approved plans and substitute for educators when needed.
• Support children during their adaptation period, fostering a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with daily routines including greeting children, preparing for walks, meals, naps, and parental handover.
• Encourage children's independence, communication, self-care, and positive behaviours.
• Take part in team meetings and internal training, following guidance from educators, psychologists, and inclusion coordinators.
