Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is vital in managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and new hires that promotes employee engagement. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers and school administrators to address staffing needs and attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and school leaders to anticipate staffing requirements, provide expert consultation, and align recruitment efforts.
- Enhance employer branding via recruitment marketing and community outreach initiatives.
- Actively source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, events, community partnerships, and networking.
- Create, update, and oversee job requisitions across online recruitment platforms.
- Manage the candidate journey from application through the first 90 days of employment, fostering engagement and confidence.
- Conduct phone screenings and assessments to evaluate qualifications, cultural compatibility, and readiness to hire.
- Coordinate and prepare candidates for interviews, ensuring a professional and efficient hiring process.
- Deliver an engaging onboarding experience that supports retention.
- Independently manage requisitions, prioritize workload, and oversee multi-step hiring and onboarding processes.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate ATS records, providing regular pipeline and performance reports.
- Analyze talent pipeline metrics and generate insights to inform hiring strategies.
- Evaluate recruitment advertising ROI and recommend adjustments to budget or tactics accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in recruiting, preferably in early childhood education or other high-volume fields.
- Understanding of employment laws, hiring compliance, and effective full-cycle talent sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional phone demeanor.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Lever ATS preferred.
- Experience with digital recruitment marketing tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Ads, and Glassdoor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Full-time position with a hybrid work schedule requiring three onsite days per week in Lawrence, MA.
- Potential for occasional evening or weekend commitments to support recruiting events and candidate needs.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods and perform desk-based computer work.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Expected to travel locally or nationally up to 15% of the time.

Compensation
The annual salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $68,000 with additional bonus opportunities.
