Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the installation of desktop solutions, CCTV systems, and other electronic devices.
• Prepare work sites for installations and ensure proper setup.
• Install and replace data networking systems and related electronic equipment.
• Inspect and monitor all installed equipment for proper functioning.
• Terminate cabling and networking connections as required.
• Plan and conduct thorough testing and commissioning of electronic, data, and computer systems.
• Conduct wiring and equipment testing ensuring functionality and safety.
• Manage inventory by receiving, storing, rotating, and ordering stock.
• Service and maintain surveillance, security, gaming, and regulatory equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Diagnose issues, verify faults, identify causes, and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Respond promptly to system breakdowns by assessing reported issues, evaluating severity, and initiating corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess Nitec or Higher Nitec certification in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a relevant field (preferred).
• At least one year of relevant experience is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of data networks, desktop hardware, and software applications.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and camera setups is preferred.
• Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, overnight, and public holidays.
• Demonstrated highest level of integrity in work and conduct.
