Role Overview

This position predominantly requires onsite work (approximately 80-90%) focusing on overseeing contractor activities and ensuring projects comply with specifications and statutory requirements. Responsibilities involve managing inspections, liaising with clients and authorities, and providing regular progress updates to the Superintendent. The role offers flexibility in working days and hours and can be full-time or part-time.

Primary Duties

• Manage Hold Points by reviewing and authorizing releases in compliance with project and municipal standards.
• Conduct quality assurance audits, reviewing documentation and test data to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure contractor operations comply with Work Health and Safety and environmental systems.
• Keep detailed daily site diaries covering personnel attendance, site activities, and any issues encountered.
• Maintain professional and ongoing communication with the Superintendent and contractors to support coordination and resolve issues.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced civil construction professional with expertise in managing site activities for land development or infrastructure projects, either in construction firms or consultancies.
• Proactive, solution-oriented work style.
• Strong communication skills and adept at managing stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to safety as a primary concern.
• Comfortable with digital inspection tools such as IAuditor or similar applications.
• Preferably holds formal qualifications in engineering, construction, or related fields.
