Role overview
Valtera Group Ltd is hiring a Supply Chain Project Manager for a global planning transformation programme focused on laboratory planning. This contract role runs for 12 months initially, with an extension expected. The position is remote, supports a global programme, and may require around 10% travel. It is a hands-on delivery role within pharmaceutical laboratory operations, not a strategy-focused assignment.
About the role
You will work with the Planning Solution Lead to coordinate the rollout of advanced planning solutions across manufacturing sites and QC laboratory environments. The main objective is to make sure each site is prepared for deployment and that planning process improvements become part of day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout of OMP-led planning tools across manufacturing and quality-control lab settings.
- Manage site readiness activities such as data preparation, process alignment, training, and go-live planning.
- Monitor deployment milestones, risks, issues, and interdependencies across several sites.
- Support testing, user acceptance testing, cutover activities, hypercare, and the stabilization period after launch.
- Work closely with planners, supply chain teams, laboratory operations, IT, and external vendors.
- Convert operational planning requirements into practical delivery steps.
- Help drive adoption of standard planning processes at site level.
- Maintain governance documents including plans, trackers, and status reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across deployment phases and rollout waves.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain, or production scheduling, ideally gained in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments. You should have already supported system deployments or planning transformation initiatives and understand production scheduling, capacity planning, and balancing supply with demand in regulated settings. Familiarity with advanced planning platforms such as OMP is preferred, while SAP or Kinaxis experience is also relevant. Strong coordination, governance, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are important for success in this execution-oriented role.
Additional information
This is a contract position. The initial term is 12 months, and an extension is expected. The role is remote for a global programme, with approximately 10% travel required.
