Supply Chain Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team at Active Alliance in West Chester, PA. This position requires a background in data business analysis combined with effective communication capabilities to support supply chain planning and forecasting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support downstream processes related to supply chain planning and demand forecasting.
• Analyze demand trends and optimize inventory management.
• Prepare performance reports for vendor and procurement evaluations.
• Develop operational KPIs and create executive-level dashboards.
• Maintain and manage SKU-related data and information.
• Design and implement data models tailored to supply chain domains.
• Set and uphold architectural standards consistent with overall data strategy.
• Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to facilitate advanced analytical initiatives.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of supply chain data.
• Oversee data lineage, metadata management, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Adhere to standards concerning data privacy, security, and internal policies.
• Work closely with product owners, supply chain leaders, and engineering units to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship to data engineers and architects on best practices within the domain.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and strong analytical skills with experience in creating dashboards.
• Familiarity with data lineage and auditing tools, alongside knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Excellent ability to collaborate across multiple functions and departments.
• Experience delivering presentations to executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Business Analytics, Business Analysis, Billing, and Auditing are highly regarded. Prior experience with companies involved in billing or ERP solutions such as Amdocs, Suntec, CSG, ADP, Oracle, or similar organizations is an advantage.
