Role Overview

This role is a full-time, in-office position based in Bhopal, tailored for a Study Abroad and MBBS Abroad Counsellor. The core responsibility involves guiding students and their families through the full spectrum of the overseas study process — starting from career and program counseling to identifying suitable universities aligned with academic credentials and career objectives. Daily tasks include personalized counseling sessions, detailing admission prerequisites, assisting with application preparation and document handling, and maintaining liaison with universities and partners.

Specifically, the counsellor provides in-depth advice regarding MBBS programs abroad, covering entrance requirements, financial implications, degree accreditation, and visa-related procedures. Additionally, the role encompasses student record management, lead follow-up, active participation in informational seminars or events, and teamwork to enhance student experiences.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Proficient counseling and advisory abilities to understand aspirant goals and communicate complex information in an unbiased, clear manner.
• In-depth familiarity with study abroad and MBBS abroad admission processes, visa protocols, and notable study destinations worldwide.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with additional fluency in local languages considered advantageous.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple student files, maintain accuracy in documentation, and meet deadlines.
• Customer-oriented mindset with capability to build trusting relationships, manage expectations, and provide empathetic support to students and families.
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools such as CRM systems, emails, spreadsheets, and video conferencing platforms.
• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in education, counseling, or management, or previous overseas education counseling experience are preferred.
• Demonstrates ethical values, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in day-to-day responsibilities.
