Job description

Overview

Salford College's Perth Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Student Recruitment Officer to contribute to its expansion across Western Australia. This role demands managing student recruitment efforts, fostering strong relationships with education agents, generating leads, and advancing business development within the region.

Key Duties

  • Recruit both domestic and international students and guide enquiries through to completion of enrolment.
  • Establish and sustain effective partnerships with education agents across Western Australia.
  • Identify and cultivate new agent and recruitment collaborations.
  • Conduct visits, presentations, meetings, and follow-ups with education agents.
  • Provide detailed information regarding courses, tuition fees, enrolment timelines, and procedures to students and agents.
  • Maintain an active recruitment pipeline by following up on leads promptly.
  • Meet or exceed agreed recruitment and enrolment objectives.
  • Support marketing initiatives, lead generation efforts, and promotional events.
  • Represent Salford College at educational expos, networking functions, and community engagements.
  • Spot emerging student markets and new opportunities for recruitment.
  • Keep precise records in the CRM system and supply regular reports on recruitment progress.
  • Collaborate closely with admissions and marketing teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospective students.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional exposure to student recruitment, international education, vocational education and training (VET), sales, or business development.
  • Prior experience working with education agents is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively convert leads into enrolments.
  • Strong organisational skills, with solid follow-up and time management abilities.
  • Confident in making presentations to students, agents, and external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and achieve set recruitment targets.
  • Familiarity with the Australian international education or VET sector is preferred.
  • Existing networks with education agents in Perth and Western Australia are a strong asset.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
