About the Role
The International School of Management (ISM) is a state-recognized university and stands among the leading private higher education institutions in Germany. For the Frankfurt campus, we are seeking an experienced Student Advisor to join our International Office in a full-time capacity (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support and guidance to students before, during, and after their international study periods.
- Welcoming and assisting international students throughout their studies.
- Advising ISM students about overseas study options and international academic programs.
- Supporting the maintenance and expansion of international partnerships with host universities.
- Coordinating care for visiting international lecturers and guests.
- Organizing and supporting international events and guest lectures delivered in foreign languages.
- Assisting in the administration and management of exchange and mobility programs such as Erasmus+ and PROMOS.
- Performing administrative and documentation duties related to international office operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completed university degree.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken German and English; additional foreign language skills are advantageous.
- Strong service orientation combined with well-developed intercultural competence.
- Highly organized with a structured and independent approach to work.
- Effective communication skills and enthusiasm for interacting with students and international partners.
- Proficient in common MS Office applications.
- Personal international experience through study abroad, internships, or extended stays abroad is a plus.
