Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our team at the Sydney Distribution Centre in Mascot. This permanent full-time role involves working on a 7-day rotating shift roster. As a Storeperson, you will oversee day-to-day operations ensuring the proper management, packing, and delivery preparation of aircraft parts crucial for servicing. You will play a vital role in inventory control, daily coordination, and supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate warehouse activities to maintain precise stock control for aircraft parts.
• Prepare parts systematically to ensure timely delivery for aircraft maintenance.
• Operate forklifts confidently, handling heavy and oversized goods within a busy warehouse environment safely.
• Utilize RF handheld scanning devices and warehouse management software for accurate inventory tracking and performance measurement.
• Work collaboratively with team members and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a valid forklift licence with demonstrable operating experience.
• Current driver's license, preferably with manual transmission proficiency.
• Previous experience within a distribution centre or large-scale warehouse environment.
• Competence using RF handheld scanning tools and warehouse/freight management systems.
• Strong safety orientation and commitment to delivering excellent customer service through disciplined warehousing methods.
• Understanding of logistics planning, operational workflows, and inventory control.
• Basic computer skills coupled with the capability to learn logistics management programs.
• Previous experience engaging with customers in a logistics setting.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively while working under supervision.
• Team-player attitude with flexibility to work according to a rotating shift schedule.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a Red ASIC security identification card.
• Knowledge of airport operations is advantageous but not required.
