Storekeeper

The Storekeeper role is crucial within our retail environment, entrusted with the stewardship of inventory through ordering, receiving, and overall stock management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all inventory operations, including placing orders, receiving, issuing, and packaging stock items.
• Ensure timely updating and accurate documentation of stock records within the management system.
• Conduct physical stock counting and reconciliation activities.
• Engage actively in scheduled stock takes and audit exercises.
• Maintain complete accuracy to achieve zero stock discrepancies.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in storekeeping within a dynamic retail environment.
• Capability to handle and package heavy inventory items safely.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, quick to learn, self-driven, and approach tasks with a proactive positive mindset.
• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively in team settings.
• Strong communication skills accompanied by good interpersonal abilities.
