Role Overview
The Store HR Executive will manage various human resource functions at the branch level, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with labor laws while fostering positive employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and maintain daily employee attendance, monitor irregularities such as late arrivals, early departures, absences, and leaves.
- Keep branch attendance registers updated and coordinate with Corporate HR to resolve discrepancies.
- Handle employee documentation including statutory and compliance records, conduct post-joining background verification follow-ups.
- Maintain mandatory labor law registers and certificates, ensuring their availability during audits.
- Update notice boards with required labor notices, company policies, and announcements.
- Monitor store hygiene across kitchen, washrooms, staff quarters, and communal spaces; collaborate with store teams to implement improvements.
- Ensure employees adhere to grooming standards and workplace discipline.
- Manage weekly off rosters with Corporate HR, ensuring adequate workforce coverage and legal compliance.
- Serve as the HR liaison for store employees, conducting engagement meetings and escalating grievances as necessary.
- Assist recruitment processes including walk-in drives, candidate interviews, and onboarding support at the branch.
- Support performance management by coordinating feedback and documentation with store managers and Corporate HR.
- Share regular HR reports concerning attendance, compliance, and employee matters with Corporate HR, and escalate issues when required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Sound knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain effective employee relations.
- Meticulous attention to detail for documentation and compliance management.
- Capability to independently handle HR operations at the store level.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Fluency in the regional language.
