Stocktaker - Southampton

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Stocktaker / Retail Advisor, ideally with a background in hospitality management such as Bar Manager, Pub Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor with hands-on experience in wet and dry stocktakes. This role offers a great work-life balance with regular Monday to Friday hours, evenings and weekends off, plus bank holidays and holiday breaks during Christmas.

Role Responsibilities

In this position, you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients such as restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail entertainment venues predominantly located around Southampton and nearby areas. Your key tasks include conducting thorough wet and dry stocktakes, analyzing results, running stock reports through EPoS systems, and advising clients on optimizing stock use to enhance profitability.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate comes with experience either as a Stocktake Auditor or in a managerial/supervisory hospitality role with stocktaking exposure. Proficiency with EPoS systems to generate stock reports, strong organizational and administrative skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and competency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel are expected. A solid understanding of stock yields and depletion is essential.

• A valid personal vehicle is required due to travel between client sites.
• The salary range offered is £26,500 to £28,500 annually, plus mileage allowance.
