Overview
The Stakeholder Manager will be responsible for identifying and managing relationships with crucial stakeholders involved in master planning, building, and infrastructure projects during their design phases. This role requires creating and executing a comprehensive stakeholder management plan to guarantee engagement and input from all parties, while ensuring alignment with the project's goals. Key responsibilities include liaising with government agencies, local authorities, environmental organizations, and community interest groups to address their concerns and requirements. Additionally, the role entails securing all necessary NOCs, permits, and approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify major stakeholders such as clients, government entities, local authorities, and interest groups relevant to the projects.
- Design and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy that ensures consistent communication and involvement.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to stakeholders, providing insights on potential challenges and opportunities.
- Deliver regular progress updates and risk/opportunity reports to clients and internal teams.
- Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure concerns are resolved and requirements are met effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Civil, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional certifications in stakeholder management or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Over 10 years of proven stakeholder management experience, particularly within master planning and infrastructure sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of stakeholder management principles, public relations, and applicable industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities aimed at mitigating stakeholder-related risks.
- Keen attention to detail ensuring accuracy in stakeholder relations.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- Experience in managing complex projects and meeting strict deadlines.
