The Entity Compliance & Governance (ECG) team, part of EY's Global Delivery Services Legal Managed Services, provides innovative, technology-based solutions to help multinational clients comply with increasing regulatory and reporting obligations worldwide. This team manages outsourced entity management requirements for major clients across EMEIA, APAC, the Americas, and beyond. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, working collaboratively with ECG member firms, clients, and central teams across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client onboarding processes, maintaining compliance trackers, and ensuring accurate recording of filing deadlines.
- Preparing documentation for health checks and coordinating with central management teams for deliverables related to these checks.
- Ensuring client information in legal entity databases is accurate and current.
- Effectively communicating with clients, local EY offices, and central management.
- Providing support for EY local offices by assisting with proposals, pricing requests, and scope definitions.
- Assisting in drafting country play books and operational runbooks.
- Managing client-shared mailboxes and regularly liaising with clients to resolve queries.
- Analyzing incoming mailbox queries, asking relevant questions, resolving issues, and delivering accurate responses.
- Learning and supporting new database and workflow management tools.
- Coordinating and updating senior managers within the GDS team and EY local offices as required.
- Collaborating with other EY internal teams (e.g., EY Law, GCR).
- Interfacing with external regulators, lawyers, and auditors as necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Associate membership qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking abilities.
- Positive learning attitude, dependability, adaptability, and resilience.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach to building interpersonal relationships.
- Self-motivated and dedicated work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with corporate secretarial services or legal entity management.
- Additional language skills.
- Experience or aptitude for working in a global corporate environment.
- Law degree.
