About the Role
Take a pivotal role within our payroll team to collaboratively develop modern, efficient, and forward-looking payroll and time management processes. We seek an individual with deep expertise in payroll and time management who works methodically, stays service-focused, and maintains clarity even with complex matters. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership, actively enhance processes, and leverage your knowledge in a global setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and oversee the monthly payroll processing.
- Maintain and supervise time management records including the reconciliation of pertinent time data.
- Prepare, update, and verify payroll-related information in SAP, SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central, and DATEV systems.
- Handle electronic sick notifications (eAU) and manage BC- and WC-related cases.
- Review pre-existing medical conditions and process KO-lists accordingly.
- Produce monthly estimations of social security contributions.
- Administer and update Employee Central platform.
- Manage and oversee employee benefits programs such as “Mein Dienstrad.”
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners including Gavdi, SAP teams, IT Denmark, and the Krakow service center.
- Serve as contact point for tax offices, governmental agencies, health insurance companies, and other external bodies.
- Engage actively in HR and payroll-related projects.
- Analyze, improve, and digitize existing payroll and time management workflows.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification focused on payroll, HR, or salary accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting and solid knowledge of time management.
- Strong understanding of social security, wage tax, and labor law regulations.
- Proficient user of SAP and ideally SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central.
- Experience with DATEV software is mandatory.
- Excellent skills with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Well-organized, precise, and able to work independently.
- High service orientation with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for process enhancements, digitalization, and cross-department collaboration.
- Experience working within international or complex payroll frameworks is an advantage.
