Role Overview
Join a global non-governmental organization as a Software & AI Solutions Specialist, supporting around 250 employees worldwide by ensuring access to optimal software and AI tools while facilitating efficient and secure usage.
Key Duties
- Monitor emerging trends and best practices in software and AI to evaluate their applicability within the organization.
- Promote knowledge by offering training resources like online courses, workshops, and documentation to enhance user understanding of software capabilities and related risks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert advising teams and leadership on how to maximize software utility including AI integrations.
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of the organization's diverse software and AI landscape and ongoing projects.
- Administer and configure key software platforms and offer user support to colleagues.
- Develop workflow automation using no-code and low-code tools, integrating rule-based and AI-driven processes to boost efficiency.
- Lead software and AI tool selection and collaborate with departments to ensure smooth deployment and system integration.
- Contribute to the formulation of technology strategy, roadmaps, and policy ensuring resources are judiciously utilized and emerging technologies leveraged.
- Work closely with data protection staff to uphold IT security and data privacy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree or equivalent IT qualification with a minimum of four years professional experience.
- Strong affinity and quick adaptability to new software solutions combined with solid AI knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
- Structured and practical work approach with a continuous learning mindset.
- Commitment to organizational mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software training, documentation, and user support.
- Project management expertise.
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation platforms like Make.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Basic German language skills.
- Foundational understanding of software development (e.g., REST APIs) and IT security practices.

- Department: International IT Team of 10 members.
- Working hours: 30–40 hours per week.
- Location: Remote within Germany or EU.
- Employment type: Permanent with initial one-year contract and extension option.
