Job Overview
As a Social Work Assistant, you will support Medical Social Workers by handling administrative tasks and facilitating social service delivery to patients and their families. Your duties will include managing data and statistics related to assistance via an electronic system, collecting necessary information from patients and their families, aiding in financial assessments, and occasionally performing home visits to provide further support.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Diploma, ideally in Social Work, Community Service, or Human Services.
- Prior experience in Social Services, Accounting, or Statistics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
